I met Linsay (insta: @linsaywillier) in Whitehorse. Aside from some amazing work in modelling, she is also part of a duo with Grace Dove that works with Indigenous youth called Thunderbird Dreams. I was actually kind of hesitant around her, as I’m cautious with new people, until we were sitting in this boujie restaurant, sipping hella expensive wine with a bunch of creative Indigenous beings, and she cracked this really naughty joke under her breath. I looked at her real quick, and she grinned at me, and I died a little. She looked so mischievous, and I was instantly “and now we gotta be besties.“
So when I was in Vancouver, we linked up at her beautiful home and just shot some casual, fun, creative images. I was working with the natural light and some more fun with crystal prisms. Linsay is a dream to shoot – confident, powerful, engaging. Can’t wait for round two.
