While I was up North, we took a road trip to Carcross, NWT. This was where Heather and her mom, Tina, were from. Tina was our model of the day, showcasing some of the beautiful beadwork Heather has done for her, as well as some of Tina’s own family heirlooms. We drove around, saw the mountains, saw the lakes, the world’s smallest dessert, and basically just laughed and gossiped. I had such an amazing time and can’t wait to go back.
