I travelled to Vancouver this February to photograph the Indspire Awards. I’ve done this a few times, and it’s different each time. But it’s always good energy – the company takes care of it’s people, makes sure everyone feel comfortable, and that I am set to do my job. It’s also hilarious, because I’m in second row as a shooter, so I always end up in the broadcast, and I have to make sure I’ms smiling and awkwardly looking at the right times and not holding a camera up to my face, hahahaha. Awesome. After the program ended, I got to meet with some of the amazing talents that performed that night, as well as catch up on some gossip and stories with everyone. Such a good time, such a joyous celebration of our people.
