Ingrid and I worked together a year or two ago when I did some basic headshots for the Circle of Voices program at the Gordon Tootoosis Nīkānīwin Theatre. I was super tired, doing headshots late in the evening, long day, blah blah blah. I asked her where she was from.
“Colombia,” she said.
“Where is that reserve?” I asked.
Silence.
Laughter. So much laughter. From both of us.
Fast forward to this year, she recently cut her hair and asked if I would be able to do some updated images for her. I adore her look and was happy she asked, so I said we would also have to do a creative headshot session as well as the basic clean headshot.
She came with red lips, amazing winged eyeliner, and big, silver jewelry.
Amazing.
