My cousin Cheyanne had these huge glittery black wings from her Halloween costume and I took them. Bahahaha. I wanted to do something with them for ages, but nothing ever worked out. Finally, I got Kendra on my side and Dana was in town for hair. I was lucky enough to get to play with make up and it all came together for something… different.
Kendra is such a stunning woman. She’s in Grade 12 in Patuanak, so I also get the pleasure of doing her Grad Shoot this June. She’s concise, talkative and has a sharp sense of humour. The weather was still some what chilly this day and she was game for the outfit changes, the earrings on and off, and the massive wings that kept getting tangled up.
The idea was “Fallen Angel”, and I just want to say that I don’t endorse smoking but she is over 18, she was already a smoker and it fit the mood. I love a few of these images – the connection with the eyes is so intense in this last one. Kendra was great in front of the camera – I asked for a serious face, I got the Model Face. I asked for a small grin, I got The Flirty Look. Overall, Dana was amazing, Kendra was the bomb and I’m very happy with how these turned out.
