They were long time friends, partners and loves. They knew each other before internet service came to the North, they had hunted and fished together, and they were raising their family. Getting married was just the icing on the cake, an affirmation of “We love” and turning into “We commit to love.” A difference that can be so slight, yet seem overwhelming to cross. The day was warm and sunny, just cool enough to be able to relax and not worry. The wedding to be held in the outdoor grotto, and the reception at the Band Hall. Everyone had been decorating and crafting and donating their time and efforts for this day… and it was finally here.
