I remember the first time I saw Aubree. She was barely a week old, being brought to the school for some pictures. She was this tiny ball of hair, beautiful eyes and a content little grin in her Mommy’s arms. She was absolutely covered in pink and winnie-the-pooh. It was so cute. We wrapped her in a Metis scarf, placed her in a birch bark basket and made a beautiful image of this beautiful Metis baby.
And now she’s all grown up. Just like that. Causing trouble, being cute and making your heart ache with joy. Baby girls.
