Earlier this year, me and Tarralik became fast friends. She’s an Inuk artist who had come to live in Saskatoon, and it turned out her son was related to me via my Métis side, so that made us family, and we were all here for it. Anyways, Tarralik runs Ugly Fish, this amazing and unique clothing and jewelry design, and asked me to take a few shots of her clothing products that she was hoping to get online. Once I saw the absolute fuggin magic she had made, I was alllllll in. I grabbed my niece Dakota and made my cousin Tara model on her lunch break as well, because obviously, and basically had the best day with the best Indigenous women and some hella cool gear to showcase.
You guys… a klik jumpsuit… I can’t. I can’t.
