Ayyyeeeee, SheNative has been one of those companies that I’ve worked with for years. Devon Fiddler – the CEO and boss – allows me space to photograph the joy and happiness that Indigenous women carry, and that is so important to me. She also always featured local women from our communities in these sessions, as we are all model-worthy, tapwe.
We shot the spring line outside Midtown Mall, using the warm downtown space and running in the mall between changes for coffee and snacks, sharing stories and laughter. As always, we had an amazing time, and I think it shows in this small selection of images.
