“So how did you two meet?” I asked Chase as we walked through the UofS.
“We met on the Strip in Vegas…” he said, starting to laugh.
“Okay, never mind. That’s a story for another time.”
We all started laughing and Chase grinned at Jessica. She rubbed her belly and smiled at him. She was glowing – belly round with life, hair shining and flowing down her back like some modern Pocahontas.
This was their maternity session – a mixture of winter baby, back alleys and beautiful light. Jessica and I had worked together previously (she’s an amazing make-up artist) so when we started talking maternity photos, I was beyond happy to do this with her. It had snowed for three days before our session, so everything was shiny, crisp and white.
This was also Chase’s first time in Saskatchewan. Ha.
