Dr. Rose was running for Chief for her First Nation band back in February and she had asked me to take some natural photos of her for her campaign. It was an interesting challenge – lots of space, bright signature colour, dead of winter – but Dr. rose is such a charming, vivacious woman that she made it easy and fun. We must have hiked a mile in the snow, but it was for a great image. Well worth it.
