I love having beautiful, inspiring, creative family members. There is nothing better than seeing the temperature warm up above -10 (ha), knowing that your sassy niece is in town, and being able to grab her for some “fun” images. “It’ll be fun,” I said. “Just to celebrate the warmer weather… let’s go to Value Village.” One dress and two heels later, we managed to start the creation of Dakota in a very va-va boom outfit.
Being an actress (starring in the Dreary and Izzy production taking place this week at SNTC), Dakota is wonders in front of the camera. Constantly moving, tossing her hair, giving me attitude, and learning how to give a snagging’ pow-wow grin (you know the one), she always makes my job that much easier.
