You guys. YOU Guys. I got to hang out with my bestie Brittany – ahem, Dr. Brittney – this year for the first time in eight years. And because she was one of the first sessions I ever did, I have to share a 2010 image… I have to.
And to be completely fair – I edited this in my 2018 style, not my super-saturated, hyper-contrast 2010 vibe.
Anyways, we hadn’t seen each other since an event (lol) way back in 2011, and she managed to get me on board to photograph a beautiful event that was taking place at her University. So we made a weekend of it, and we drive around town, ate everywhere, had a poetry reading, made some amazing new friends, and life was hella good. She is still the same woman that I knew way back at UBC – hilarious, witty AF, super nice (unlike me) and so, so kind.
So we also made sure to get some beautiful images for her – some creative headshots and some bas-ass sweetmoon portraits so she could see herself exactly as I see her – a beautiful, powerful being.
