I first met Jenna in 2008. She’s the sister to my friend Tiffany, and Tiffany and Jenna came to visit me in Saskatoon one year as they were driving home from Calgary to Ontario. Tiffany and I went out and had a legendary night that included the cops, $100 dollar bills and eatings wings at 3 AM. Jenna stayed home, not feeling well. The next day, once we were all fed and watered, I was teasing her. I laughed, and said she was pregnant. She laughed, said no. I insisted, and we all laughed, and they drove off into the sunset towards Ontario.
Tiffany calls me a month later, just laughing. “Jenna’s pregnant!”
I like winning.
So I felt that Porter, that he and I had already met. It’s crazy to believe that it’s been that long since Jenna and I had seen each other, but it was so easy to catch up, drink coffee and gossip with her. I stayed at her place while I was out at Walpole Island, Ontario. It’s their reserve, and Jenna opened up her home to me for a few days. During that time, we managed to sneak in a session of her and Porter.
I had driven by this “field” and when I brought Jenna there, she was all, “are you sure?”
