I drove up to Cold Lake, AB in September to photograph my cousin Dani and her sweetie Mark’s family session. They had just had a daughter and they wanted some photos before the leaves changed. It was a slightly windy day so we stayed close to the trees and layered up, and managed to get some smiles throughout the session. Dani and Mark were so much fun to work with – both so absolutely in love with each other and their kids, and they both laughed as I was trying to show them how to do the “pow-wow grin” at the camera – good times, good times.
