Let’s talk about 2011. I had some great shoots. I did a contest that garnered 1000+ new fans, which was awesome. I worked on everything from newborn to weddings to pow-wows. I tried to shoot everything and managed to get a lot done.
My clients were fearless, always willing to try new posing ideas, new locations. That made me so happy. The new moms cuddling their babies, the teens preparing for a new year at college, the newly married couples gazing at each other with secret smiles and giggles. Everyone I worked with this year helped make me a better photographer, and I’m so thankful to them.
A new blog was born. It’s not complete yet, in any way, but I wanted a place where I could blog about my shoots, about the ideas that are the beginnings of new shoots, about my fears and ambitions regarding this business. This blog is going to be a space where I show what goes on behind the scenes at my shoots, before and afters, where I talk about what I am trying to achieve and the goals I am trying to meet. It’s where I am going to be as me as possible, so you know who I am as your photographer.
I’m just so excited for 2012. New gear, new clients, new shoots to be realized.
