When I was staying in Chilliwack, I had a moment when I was so ready to leave. I was done with privileged asses being privileged asses. I was done with being uncomfortable and sleeping in the same room as 11 other people. I was done with sharing and personal space being violated and certain people not understanding shit about Indigenous cultures. Ha. So much was going on behind the scenes. But anytime I needed a few minutes away, or a place to vent safely, or a walk, these two ladies were there.Whitney and Sabina, they saved the trip for me. Sarcastic humour, an innate need to explore and push their own boundaries in understanding and in adventures, and an appreciation of the local Pho, made for a lasting friendship. I am so thankful for these two.
In true sweetmoon fashion, I photographed them to thank them 😉
