Tahnea is a graduate from Meadow Lake, but she’s one of our beautiful Dene woman from ERFN, strong and smart and full of quick smiles and loud laughter. She was a dream in front of the camera, and I’m so glad we got to work together. She was amazingly brave in that tall grass – remember it was tick season! – but we made it work and these are some of my favourite images to date.
