that Light tho // Learning

I try to learn something new every season or so. I saw an image a few months ago and saved it, inspired by the light. It was a studio shoot, full of neon light, and I was all “hmmmm, how did they do that? How can I do that?

I reached out to Al of Festivale Photomedia, as his light work is pretty stellar, and he agreed to mentor me a touch at the studio. We gathered models and ideas, and I watched Al in awe as he played with big lights, gels, and a bunch of other items that I cannot begin to name.

It’s very obvious to me that I still have hellllaaaaa much to learn, but this was good.

Thanks to everyone who gathered to help me learn, I appreciate it!
