lesia & adam // families – Saskatoon Family Photography

Lesia and I go way back. To 2002, to be precise. A cool Fall day, she and I met on the grounds of St. Peter’s College, so many moons ago. The trees were a fiery yellow and red, the grounds a deep dark brown. We shared kitchen space, living rom space, but had never really talked a few weeks into the year. One day, she sat down in a chair in my room, and I looked at her. She looked at me. Silence.

Awkward silence.

I think we were meant to be best friends.

Now, eleven years later, she had married her high school sweetie and was now pregnant with her second baby. I gave up asking waiting for her to ask me to do photos, and made her do photos with me. We drove out for a photo session on an abandoned farm, and later laughed over spicy cajun food and sangria – water for her, natch. Cole, her beautiful blue-eyed baby boy, was easy o bribe for some beautiful pictures, and Adam has a secret crush on me, so when I told him to smile – he gave me a winning grin, every time. Ha.

I hope she loves these, and she feels they tell her story.

So excited for baby #2 to get here.
