I first heard of Helen through our shared writers circle – she is a talented writer and spoken word poet herself – and her poetry was also featured by one another guest writer at my other blog, tea&bannock, and I got to see how her work truly inspires other people. So when we started making plans for her to come to Saskatoon for a creative headshots session, I was so humbled. She is smart and funny, powerful and creative. Hanging out with her was so effortless, and her photos turned out pretty bomb as well.
