Hannah. My godchild. My daughter of the heart. The one who is the spots to my leopard. How I adore and cherish this one and her mom. Every year Hannah and I do a session, just for us, and Jody styles her baby girl like a pro and when Hannah steps in front of the camera, magik happens. She poses, twirls, vogues, dances, jumps, walks, tosses her hair. All while maintaing eye contact with camera.

She’s such a supermodel.

This year we took advantage of the Fall settings in Saskatoon. We went down by Sask Cres and just played. She loves to pose, play and laugh and that just makes it so easy to capture her. Laughing, sometimes moody, and

Hannah is my godchild and Aerie is Jody’s godchild. So I absolutely love any photo that I can get of the two of them together. My and my godsister have a special relationship and I am going to encourage that same bond between these two beauties. Jody laughs that I call them godsisters, but she’ll come to my way of thinking.

Th sun had already set by these last photos. Jody and I were silent, watching Hannah as she walked off to play with Aerie and Uncle Allen.

“She looks so grown up,” Jody said.

“That’s cuz she is growing up,” I said, nodding.
