Emery and I set up a family session featuring her daughter Adley and her sister Kelcy the weekend of FSIN Hockey Tourny- that legendary gathering of Indigenous and Hockey, arenas and rink burgers, eeee – and it was amazing fun. Emery and Kelcy were so hilarious to work with, and I brought some candy to bribe some love and daughter from Adley, who was actually pretty pro in front of the lens. We went up to Holiday Park area as well as some back alleys around 20th, and managed to get some great images despite the chilly and windy day we shot it.
