I first met Disa, officially, last summer. This was when I had driven to Banff, shot a wedding, and drove back to Saskatchewan, and found myself locked out of my apartment at midnight. Sigh. Turns out she’s cousins with my friend who saved my butt. Small world. So we met, became friends, and double-clicked on each other’s FB links and such. She’s a talented designer, and when she asked me to shoot het family’s session, I was all “yes, please.” We had a great time this Fall, they were dressed to impress, and the all-woman powerhouse this family is gives me all the chills.
