I am so in love with this session for Catherine Blackburn’s Jewelry line, featuring Saskatoon model, Amelia Boissoneau. It was a YXE powerhouse session, with makeup by Kacey Beaudry and Hair by Nish. Catherine is talented Dene artist from English River First Nation – currently calling the Prairies home – and she did all the styling herself – she was awesome.

I loved it all. Take a look, and I’m not even sorry for all the images – it was hard to tone it down to even this selection.

But if course, I had to include some behind the scenes – there was so much laughter this day. In-between the wardrobe attempts and walking through prickly bushes (imagine me crying but saying “it’s for the picture, do it for the picture!”), we told stories, ran around being dramatic, and got it done.
The fur robe was my favorite tho.
