She told me they had started dating when they were thirteen, in the small town of Canoe Lake. I’m used to these long term northern romances, but even that was such a sweet idea. Dusty roads and hot summer nights, walking the roads because no one is old enough to drive. The era before iPods and all you could do was talk to each other, not text. Eventually, they had created a family of two sons and one perfect little daughter, and finally, they were saying the vows that would tie them together, forever and always. Sometimes, you have to wait to be sure, and sometimes, waiting makes everything perfect.
Their friends and families came together to celebrate their wedding day and the evening was filled with such big laughter and giggles, such joy for these two. They have such a strong foundation to stand upon, and the world to show their little family.
Congrats and many happy years to you both!
